The microcontroller’s analog-to-digital converter measures
the feel resistor voltage and compares that voltage towards a threshold stored
in firmware. If the cutting-edge measurement exceeds the edge for a positive
amount of time, the microcontroller disables the motor driving force to save
power. It’s essential to configure the period of time to locate a stall so that
the inrush cutting-edge does no longer by chance trigger the stall detection.
